Eddie started his musical career with his brother Alex by engaging themselves in classical music. But they left classical music and started in a rock band named Mammoth.
In 1974, Van Halen brothers teamed up with David Lee Roth – Vocalist and Michael Anthony – bassist to form Van Halen band. With the help of Eddie’s guitar skills and Roth’s unique voice led their band to become popular in the Los Angeles rock scene.
In 1977, the band met Kiss bassist Gene Simmons who financed and recorded their first recording session. Afterwards, they got signed with Warner Bros and released their self-titled debut album “Runnin’ With the Devil.”
